Best dog ever.
We brought her home, to her favorites , cats, got her a dog, then bought her a farm.
Tolerant, loving, so loving, kind. Everyone who met her, loved her, dogs, cats, people.
She hated conflict, crying babies, tears.
She was an Ambassador for all Pit Bulls,
And I am so lucky that I got to share a thousand stories with her, 13 years worth.
Now, she is lying for the last time on her mat, with her blankie and bone pillow,
Tomorrow I will build her coffin, dig her grave, and bury her near the house, where she can continue to watch over us, close to the creek where she loved to go swamping.
But tonight, I will just pet her, tell her again, what a Good Dog she is, remember stories and tall tales and cry.
